Elmer and Lyde Pullins
Elmer Pullins's (on left) son Harold bought the Simpson Low House in March, 1946 and owned it until his death in 1957. This is a picture of Elmer and his brother Lyde.
This picture was taken "late '40s" on the east side of the main wing of the house. Note all the damaged brick showing. Oddly, it doesn't look this bad today, perhaps because when it was repaired the repairs were colored to match the surrounding brick.
My great grandfather, Byron Ellsworth Pullins in the front center, with his five sons, Joseph Conley (my grandfather), Clifford, David, Patrick and George.
There were also two sisters in this clan, Ida Mae and Mary Ellen. Their mother, Anna Isabel had passed away by the time this picture was taken.
